Dear All
i would like to ask if anyone has gone though the medical examination to obtain
authorization or visa ? I find these all very strange. Despite all the medical
examination, the DMP (designated medical pratitioner) cannot tell you of your medical
condition. I don't know if the fee paid for the application of visa is going to cover
the check-up expenses. But in any case, the applicants should really know the outcome
of the medical records. All the doctors desginated are specialists, hence I would
have expect an expensive bill altogether. It seens strange that you bear all the
payment to go through a check up yet dont know anything about your own health ?
Unless this whole process is free of charge ?
Any adviise is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

The fee for the medical examination is not included in your application fee. You must
pay it separately and directly to the DMP that you chose to go to.
All applicants for Permanent Residency have to go through a medical examination
DMP's will inform you if there is a medical condition that they find where you should
seek further medical treatment with your own doctor. Otherwise they are not allowed
to disclose results of the examination to you or render an opinion on your
admissibility.
You should call several of the DMP to check out the fees, they can vary from doctor
to doctor.
