Got It!
Gosh, I have been waiting to say that for ages. Received passport request today, one day after e-client change! My details are in my signature. After 7 years of being a virtual prisoner to a student visa and the whims of my department, I am free!
Thanks to everyone who has put up with my neurotic postings over the ages, both the Experts and everyone else. As communication with Buffalo is almost impossible, the experts and people here have really been the only source of information and support I have gotten.

So I take it you have only applied for Canadian Immigration as a back up because you couldn't get a Greencard?
I wish that wouldn't happen as the people who really do want to make Canada their home is waiting in line behind you.

Hi Geet and everyone. Yes, MJ23 I will probably land before you, but thats because I am already here. Although I am looking forward to the proverbial swing around the "flagpole." So, I will let the YMCA know what kinda guy you really are and they shouldn't let you stay there! (kidding!)
Geet, I took my medicals on Nov 7, they were mailed to Ottawa by the doctor on Nov 14, received by Buffalo on December 15th-ish, and I received my PPR yesterday March 22. So, 4.5 months from doing to the doctor till PPR.
