Default Getting Canadian PR while holding Australian

Dear All,

I have a valid Australian PR visa in my passport (but don't live there). Now my Canadian immigration process is coming to it's end. Can Australian visa somehow prevent Canadian consulate from stamping their PR in the passport? I don't think it should but figured it might be worth asking the experts on this forum . Please advice. Thanks.

I dont have an answer for you rather a question. Would you mind to share your reasons (if not personal) for selecting Canada over OZ.
Nevertheless this question will bump this thread up, perhaps you get some expert advice.--- .
Thanks and regards
