Talking Finally :D a 3 year timeline from the uk

applied london,uk october 2001
recieved notification for interview april 2002
received new forms sometime 2002 (lol sorry no idea)
denied under new rules september 2003
recieved notification of processing june 2004
recieved notification for interview (london) september

Attended interview and granted under old legislation!

In canada at the moment but got my medicals booked as soon as i get home

Oh is anyone planning on making the move after christmas? not sure where im going yet but feel free to get in touch if you are heading to canada in jan/feb 05 (especially if your an IT worker) - the more the merrier eh

Good for you! Great news after such a long wait. All becomes a bit of a blur after a while doesn't it?

Keep us posted on how you get on. I still have a long wait, but good on you
