But that is the responsibility of the employer to pay so based on the info that was posted that the BCNP had approved this then that should be taken care of by the employer.

Agree. Absolutely the responsibility of the Employer. Proof of payment would (as you know) need to be produced when applying for such a work permit (and no open work permit fee as the WP wouldn't be open).

Also correct and I was wondering somewhat if the OP is aware of that fact as the first few posts didn't indicate it would be an employer specific letter hence me mentioning the $100 processing fee for an open work permit for the husband. I must admit its been a while since I dealt with this as at one stage Provinces could issue a PNP support nomination letter for either any employer (open work permit) within the Province or employer specific which named the employer (restricted work permit).
