Finally Got It - London/conjugal
I sponsored my then boyfriend (now husband) as my conjugal partner. We were both UK citizens, I had PR in Canada, and mid-way through the application got my citizenship:
Application sent to Mississauga: 14 April 2003
Approval to sponsor received: 28 April 2003
Acknowledgment from CHC London: 12 May 2003
Letter informing of interview: 25 September 2003
Interview in London: 12 November 2003
Passport Requested: 9 February 2004
Passport sent: 12 February 2004
Passport received: 2 March 2004
The passport was received with a letter saying that my husband had to enter Canada before the 11 March 2004, giving him 6 weeks only!
Not the best timeline as you can see. It took almost a year in total and every step of it seemed to be dragged out.
Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Well done! I guess the six weeks is what is left of the year they give you from the medical! Wow, that seems to have taken quite some time to sponsor.

Congratulations !! It's really good to hear that you made it and
comforting for those of us who are still waiting. I'm being sponsored
through the Paris office and it's also taking ages.
Best wishes for the future !
