Hi,
I finally got the PP request yesterday after a long delay. I feel so happy now. Today, I applied for a PR passport to send for visa stamping. (Korean applicants are required to obtain a PR passport before stamping). It takes about two weeks. It's nothing compared to my long waiting for PP request. Once I get it, I will run to Buffalo instead of mailing it. I want to thank all people in this forum for a lot of help, especially Mr. Miller and Mr. Humphries. Thanks a lot!!
I have one concern about the 30 day time frame. I wonder if it is kept strictly and from which date the 30 days counts. The PP request letter was dated Feb. 16th, 2005, but I got it on March 3rd, 2005. Considering the time taken for getting my Korean PR passport, it will be already 30 days from the date the letter was issued. Or is it counted from the date I received the letter? Should I send fax to Buffalo to explain it, or would they understand it?
I want to hear opinions of people who already had the same experience. I saw several posts about the issue. I'd appreciate it.
Just for your reference, here is my timeline:

PP REQ: MAR 2005

Congrats!!!
They will allow some flexibility, but don't try to stretch it too much for no valid reason.
