Hello Every one,

i applied for FP on june15th,by when i can expect the cleareance certificate them.

Any idea how many weeks it's taking.


and my other question is , is it okay to submit a police cleareace certificate from embassy instead from a designated police office directly from that country.

From looking at various posts I think it is taking 5 to 7 weeks for the FP, but somebody who got the FP results recently would be able to tell accurately.

It is ok to submit the police clearance from the embassy.

It too me 4 weeks to get the fingerprinting certificate back. Yes it is faster to send PPC from embassy instead from a designated police office directly from that country.

It now takes about 8 weeks.

It takes 8 weeks. I sent it out on June 1st. I called them yesterday and was told that they will process mine today and sent out on today or tomorrow depending on release from the system.

If you have a deadline, mention it in the cover letter or when you call them. They will process it appropriately.
