Express Entry Question
Hi all,
Apologies if this has been asked before, but I'm just trying to get my head around the new Express Entry system.
I know that both me and my wife will need to do the IELTS language assessment before I build my Express Entry profile. Do I also need to get my qualifications converted at this stage or does that happen once I actually apply for PR?
I'm looking at getting about 440 points - hardly a shoe-in but worth a try!

Re: Express Entry Question
If you are applying through the FSW stream, then you have to get your education assessed and enter the assessment number into the application 'form' online.
I don't think you have to do it for the CEC stream, but, you won't get any points for education if you don't do it.
EDIT: P.S. I'm at 444 - so you'll be in the same boat as me. Good luck... I think we're gonna need it.

Re: Express Entry Question
Thanks! I heard the lowest in the latest draw was less than 460, so moving in the right directing.
