I made CPO, but liked to work for a living, so commissioning was a non starter for me! Wait until some ex-officer see's this thread, we could be in for some enemy fire!

I just rang up the UK to see if I could obtain my military conduct record. Apparently they no longer do it - its all included within the civilian police check. I actually didn't need it I was just being nosey.

For all ex vets visiting UK - get a hold of a Vets ID Card from
http://www.britishveterans.co.uk/ - I have just been down to the states and just through being cheeky - got discounts of motels, golf and even got a free meal out of it - made loads of friends too - they love the Brit Mil.
