Dont think we are on 'the list'
I dont think we are on the skilled list however when searching Canadian companies websites in our fields of trade there are jobs available, are there any other ways of trying to emigrate??

If an employer meets the criteria for an LMO (having advertised and unable to find any Canadian resident to fill the job) and is willing to apply on your behalf you could possibly get a TWP.

Book some flights, get yourself over here, arrange interviews, get a job offer, get the employer to go through the LMO process, when (if) approved, apply for TWP... badabing.
Once you've been here working for a year you can apply for PR under the SW class.
