Default define civil servant

I'm applying for PR as a spouse of a Canadian citizen and am nearly done with the forms. But, I've run in to a question, I'm not sure if I was a civil servant or not. this is for q. 13 on the Schedule 1/background form.

here's the deal, I worked for the National Park Service (which is a division of the Department of the Interior) as a seasonal Biology Tech. The job was always seasonal or temporary. I was never commissioned-never carried a gun and had no legal authority.

Was that job a civil servant job? I'm leaning towards including it just to be safe-I already have my time with the NPS listed under the personal history question.

thanks

You worked for a branch of the government, ergo civil servant.

NO.
"Civil Servants are those who are employed by the Crown - which can be
roughly translated as Federal government"
You said you were hired temporarily, so you were not a Civil Servent.

This posting was made by an imposter trying to discredit me and made
from a popsite.net posting host. Genuine posts from S B are made from a
Canadian IP address.
