define civil servant
I'm applying for PR as a spouse of a Canadian citizen and am nearly done with the forms. But, I've run in to a question, I'm not sure if I was a civil servant or not. this is for q. 13 on the Schedule 1/background form.
here's the deal, I worked for the National Park Service (which is a division of the Department of the Interior) as a seasonal Biology Tech. The job was always seasonal or temporary. I was never commissioned-never carried a gun and had no legal authority. Was that job a civil servant job? I'm leaning towards including it just to be safe-I already have my time with the NPS listed under the personal history question. thanks |
Re: define civil servant
come on, someone has to know if that would qualify as a civil servant job or not

Re: define civil servant
NO.
"Civil Servants are those who are employed by the Crown - which can be roughly translated as Federal government" You said you were hired temporarily, so you were not a Civil Servent. thermophile <member22719@british_expats.com> wrote in message news:<[email protected]>... > come on, someone has to know if that would qualify as a civil servant > job or not |
