Dates on Visa and other questions
On my PR visa stamped in my passport, the dates are:
Date of issue: 15/12/2003
Expiry date: 04/06/2004
I am hoping that these dates are in the format: day/month/year
(otherwise I will have a problem landing!)
So the expiry date is: 4th of June 2004. Is this correct?
Also, I am wanting to land with a minimum luggage so that I can find
an apartment first and then my brother will send the rest of the
luggage through UPS, etc. Or he may rent a U-Haul and drive it to me
in Canada from the U.S. What would be a good way to go about it? Will
they still demand a list of goods?
Thanks for helping
Steve

Re: Dates on Visa and other questions
Yes it is day/month/year. Your plan for landing seems OK. You will need to
delare the items to follow and it would be agood idea to discuss things with
the Customs officer when you land.
