mizadi,

you are in florida and you cannot apply for canadian citizenship if
you are not permanently residing here - in this circumstances it
really doesn't matter "which place in Canada has the shortest
processing time"

all application go to cpc in sydney nova scotia anyway and then after
initial processing files are forwarded to the cic office closest to
your residential address

Congrats Trikky,

1. Does anyone know if calling the CIC to check on the status of your application affects the processing time of your application ?

2. What happens if you move while you have already applied for Citizenship. Does notifying CIC of change of address delays your application in any sense (If you are altogether moving to a different town but nearby)?

3. When you call the CIC, and talk about Citizenship application, Are you tyalking to the Sydney guys or your local CIC in town ?

Can someone elaborate.

Thanks
