CIC Citizenship timelines

Re: CIC Citizenship timelines
When the guy was handing them out I could see the papers, they were all the same, at least the two or three that I saw him hand out.

Re: CIC Citizenship timelines
Does anyone have experience of the processing time in Ontario(Burlington/Hamilton)?
Our timeline so far....
Application received 31 May 2011
Booket and acknowledgement dated 27 July 2011 - actually received 28 December 2011 courtesy of Canada Post not sure where it was up until then
Status is still "payment and application received"

Re: CIC Citizenship timelines
Hi all,
Does anyone have a general idea of how long CIC sit on further information sent back? I was asked to fill out and send back the Residency Questionaire and a bunch of information. Everything was sent back early December 2011. Canada Post confirm that package reached CIC Moncton, NB. I've called CIC twice but they say that as it has not been entered into the system they cannot confirm the package is there. It would be very helpful to get any information/time frame from people who have gone down this road before. Some sense of timing outside of the black hole for which we call CIC would be very helpful.
Cheers in advance.

Re: CIC Citizenship timelines
Hey there,
From what I've learned; the way it works is like this. Sydney takes all the initial applications and process them. Once they are through the basic hurdle files are then sent to the nearest CIC office to the applicant where the Citizen Judges work. The judges (Or their assistances/Administrators) will then complete the rest of the process and invite you for a test (If you meet requirements) and so on. To anyone else, Please correct if this is wrong.
Hope that helps.
