Default cargivers programme?

Hello there!
Can anyone possibly help me?

I have just returned from Canada. I had an interview via an agency and i got a job. I spent a week with the family as the child has special needs. The family are desperate for me to come back to work for them as soon as possible.
I have sold everything here and i am just sitting waiting to go back.
I plan to take my 13 year old son with me to the family home(which they are very happy with). I managed to visit the local school to get him a place for september.
I filled all the paperwork in with the agency and i am trying to process things my end. The agency told me they have a clearence from HRDC and this will then go to the Embassy in London.
I am aware that my son's father needs to provide legal notification to allow his son to live in Canada. I just need to know if i can fasttrack this myself?
can i arrange something through a solicitor?
I telephoned canada house and they told me they cannot give out such infromation.
I am deeply frustrated as i really don't wont any hold ups.
Can i also have a medical in advanced?

I could go back tomorrow but i know that it is not possible.
I don't want to lose the job becuase of the time scale.

I would be so very grateful for some advice as i feel so helpless waiting for all the proceedure to go through.
can anyone help me?

The caregiver program has certain requirements. Hopefully you have already
explored and satisfied that you meet those.

You can get the statement from a solicitor (your husband can) and you can
include it with your application for work permit.

Processing times vary from post to post and I don't really know from London,
but in general they are a more efficient post than most and would estimate
about 6-10 weeks. That is based on applications for other types of workers.

Hope this helps.

Good luck,

Babyblue:

Please let us know how everything goes, and if you were able to get
caregiver work permit. Thanks!
