Former Lancastrian - THANK YOU SO MUCH - Finally simple and precise advise! This is what we thought to be the case (logically), but everywhere we turn (particularly CIC) there is conflicting and confusing advise, directing applicants to contact their local Immigration office (which is almost impossible for London), and forced us to doubt the ability to land quickly now we have COPR.

For information, a Case Officer in London did finally come back to us by phone. She said that we should have a variety of documents (Citizenship Application submitted and Limited Validity Passport App for both kids supplemented with a Facilitation Visa App for the one older than 2yrs) in place (and has now emailed us links to everything needed), but also said that she "was not aware of anyone being refused landing in the absence of such documentation for minors whose right to citizenship is easily established and confirmable by the IO".

A lot of stress going around in circles on CIC website and frustration in the lack of guidance has now dramatically reduced and has given us the confidence to proceed as we had originally planned!
