And one of the criteria for non residency is what? Not maintaining a bank account
with a Canadian bank. You are potentially threatening your non-residency by doing so.

Yes, you've shown that a Chicagoan making 54% more than someone in Calgary will
pay more tax. Try adjusting for currencies, so the American's marginal tax rate
won't increase.

Yes, you'd be impressed with a government that actually pays bureaucrats to keep ESPN

Okay, I don't want to believe that, but if it's true, it's better then big businesses
paying lobbyists, politicians, and bureaucrats to keep our health care system the
shitty way it is, to keep Uzis on our streets, to make sure every person who buys
anything has their life in danger due to faulty products, etc. etc. etc.

It is true. Check out the satellite systems offered by www.bell.ca and cable offered
by www.rogers.ca or www.rogers.com. It is easier than reading Federal tribunal after
tribunal in justificationese.

Why would big business pay to keep health care shitty? They have a vested interest to
keep it cheap and effective.

Is the highest murder rate still in DC, which bans guns (unless you are a whore like
Sarah Brady - then you get special privileges).

Certainly I wouldn't hold my breath for the US to help in that regard, either.
It took them 4 years to jump into the fray the last time around, and even then
it was only after nearly the entire Pacific Fleet was bombed into scrap metal by
the Japanese.

America -- resting on its laurels for far too long. They should watch they don't get
complacent!

I'll tell you one thing that's better in Canada -- the telecom industry. Try getting
cable for your internet in the US. Not only will it cost you an arm and a leg, but
you won't get nearly the same fast service you do in Canada. A buddy of mine swears
his cable connection in Toronto is at least 2x-3x as fast as his friends in the
Boston area. I would argue it's cheaper here and more readily available to the
population centres.

It's dumb, let the Crips and Bloods kill themselves off after they get shipped off.
Let all the racists get shipped to some remote place like the South Pole and let them
kill themselves (black supremacists,white supremacists,Oriental
supremacists, etcetera) by shooting themselves out. As far as I'm concerned that would
be the only good thing they would be doing so the rest of society doesn't have to
worry about these scrouges of society.

The problem of paying for the retirement of the BabyBoomers.

    >

The problem that post-Baby Boomer generations are going to have with dealing with an
aging population, more importantly the problem of the paying for their retirement. Do
you honestly think USA, Canada and other countries with this influx of retirees
aren't going to have a problem?

    >

The problem certain people may have with the changing demographics. Currently
Caucasians account roughly 70% of the USA population if you go see the federal
government's website with regard to population demographics. However, this racial
group will be expected to be a minority sometime in this centruy according to the
population trends. The Latin American market is the fastest growing group in the
USA,and some people may have a problem with that (like bigots and racists). That's
what problem, and some people may have a problem learning Spanish.

All of those projections are based on recent trends. You are assuming these trends
will continue, and this is a major flaw in your reasoning. As soon as the economy
turns south, and it may have started already, all of the illegal latinos will be run
off so that citizens can get the jobs.
