the official certification is "SVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering: Domestic Plumbing". (Im guessing the same as an NVQ level 3 in England)

Its from the official exam board in Scotland "SQA". Who would be your best bet you think? I was thinking UToronto.

any advice would be appreciated.

If you are applying under EE FSW Trades then there is no need for an ECE - however, you will need to sort out getting your Plumbing CoQ from your Province of Choice - which is different to ECE.

I’m currently awaiting my husbands BTEC National Diploma in Computing and HND in computing from WES. But I think we’ll only have enough points for the 2 year education one which bro has our score only up to 395 and that’s with top marks on language skills for both of us.

So so unless we can get a job offer then pnp, I doubt we’ll be able to move to Canada :(

fingers crossed hey.

I've moved your posts to the thread you created in Canada Immigration, that way you will get responses that are relevant to you and your situation.

Hi Hisham,

Your qualification is BTEC level 3 from Pearson, right? I would appreciate if you could give me the rough idea of how many credits for this BTEC level 3 (I suppose 120 credits?),

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

It was a 2 years full time course.

Hello,
I’m interested in a Btec Level 5 Diploma in Strategic management, it’s a self paced online program for one year and also 39 credits. I want to find out if you have an idea of Ices evaluation for it. Also how many credits was yours? and how long did it take Ices to evaluate it?

Thank you.

Hisham, I got my level 5 one year professional diploma assessed. However I know someone who had a two year national diploma and got a two year post secondary grade back. It all seems a bit strange.

is it a pro diploma or just diploma? I got one year of post secondary for my level 5 professional diploma, it was a year course. It took about 3 months to get assessed unfortunately, wes is far quicker but i didnt want to risk them not assessing it highly enough. i went with bcit in vancouver, you can check their wait time on their website

The website says diploma, so I guess it’s ordinary diploma. So do you think ordinary diploma will be assessed as one year ? I really appreciate your response.
Thanks

I think you'll be ok to be honest, I know someone who got through on a level 3, but it was two years, its all a bit risky but you might just have to go for it.

Hello, sorry to bother you again. How many credits was your professional diploma?

Thank you.
