Default BC PNP

Hi all, I have submitted my application for EEBC PNP, paid the fees and now my file is "in process", just wandering if anyone else is in or has been in recently a similar position to me regarding this and how quickly your application was processed? I am hoping that it will be approved soon (fingers crossed) so I will hopefully get an ITA on the next round to apply for PR before the federal election takes place, as I've heard from a few people that if the conservatives come into power they are likely to make changes to immigration processes and express entry and that I could end up losing my EE profile and BC PNP (basically they would become void and I'd have to start all over, not good when my IEC expires on Boxing day). Not sure on how true this is, so if anyone knows a little more about it please feel free to share your thoughts!

Many thanks for any help/info!

Tom
