How long does it take for CHC to cash in bankers draft having received from applicant?

Nobody can tell for sure. It depends on when they deposit it.

It should be from a few days to a few weeks.

all i can tell you is that the chc don't cash your bankers draft until they are just about to give you a file number......we put ours in in october '06 and wasn't 'cashed' until january '07.....not sure if this helps, just our own experience. good luck

Go into your bank in the UK and give them the specific instructions as per the CIC website, the amount in Canadian dollars payable to the receiver general for Canada.

Ive just replied on one of the other posts regarding bankers drafts, but our fastrack application was signed for on 8th october at cic london, so nearly 5 weeks and as of yet they have not cashed the bankers draft.
So think it all depends on who opens it and when they open it, but wish they would hurry up....hate all this waiting!
