Dear experts,

I have a couple of questions about the assessment fpr engineers. My sister is about
to send her initial application for PR. She hopes to get an interview waiver and
needs some advice. She is the principle applicant. She and her husband, both are
food/cosmetics technologists (engineers).

Regarding the profession, what is the best for her to do in order to improve her
application? Does she need to assess the qualifications of her husband as well, or
only the assessment of her own qualifications will do? Do you think that assessing
qualifications for both of them will increase their chances for interview waiver? (of
course, she will send IELTS results)

Thanks in advance for your advice...

If the principal applicant is an engineer and intended occupation is engineering, it
is important to have the ccpe assessment done, ccpe assessment is not mandatory but
some visa office will require it when you apply for an engineering occupation .
initial application can be submitted without ccpe result and the result sent to them
later. good luck chris
