appointment for US Visa
Hi,
My wife is landed imm in Montreal. She needs visa to visit US. But
the earliest date for appoinment available ( checked the website) is
19th August.
Is there any other way to do it earlier?
Thanks

No, there isn't. You should change your travel plans to comply with these restrictions. United States immigration system does not ask you what is convenient for you, but rather imposes its own schedule onto your life no matter what consequences there are for you.
I have been waiting for my travel document from the Nebraska processing center for over 10 months already, and now all activity there has been frozen, and the estimated waiting time is indefinite. While you wait until August 19th, think about the hundreds of thousands of people who are unable to travel for a year or more, waiting for the United States immigration system to get its act together.
Note that you may have to pay the reciprocity fee on top of the visa application fee, which, depending on your wife's country of citizenship, can be up to $500 USD. You will also have to pay $6 USD each at the port of entry for the I-90 slip. Remember to return the I-90 as you leave the United States, otherwise the police will be looking for you, and you will not be allowed to travel to United States again.
Good luck,
Alfaris

1. Ottawa could be better. Less rush.
2. Keep on checking internet dates regularly. Specially on saturday
mornings. There r cancellations taking place and be quick to grab it.
Keep credit card etc. ready and you will have to cancel your earlier
appointment. You have to be fast, after cancelling the appointment.
Just click after cancellation that you want to reshcedule and all
information will be in tact. And then take the cancelled one.
