Hi! I'll be going for my interview this summer. Anyone knows what the interviewer
will ask? Do I have to study facts about Canada? Like who's who, what's what, and
where's where in Canada?

Hope someone can give me some hints.

Thanks!

No, you don't need to study facts about Canada. The interview in general is to verify
facts from your application, compare copies of submitted documents with originals,
assess your language skills and your adaptability. Often interview includes
additional questions or issues that arise during your application process and you
will have to clarify them.

I didn't do any homework like who's who. but I did make sure I had the original
documents etc that I had copied for the application. I found my
Q.A. interview pleasant and informative. be honest in your replies to the
interviewer. make sure you have prepared your documents as requested in your
interview papers !

I had interview last year. Interview officer asked few general knowledge question
about canada such as who is P.M., Names of all Provinces and territories etc. Anyway,
be prepared for any kind of questions been asked. Good Luck.

You haven't mentioned if its a job interview or citizenship interview. I assume it is
Citizenship interview. If yes it is, then visit the Canadian Immigration &
Citizenship website (http://www.cic.gc.ca) and find your way around to 'Becoming
Canadian Citizens'. They have on-line guide book, sample questions for citizenship
test and so on.

If you mean, job interview, most employers will ask very open ended questions on the
first interview. For example, Describe yourself. Why should I hire you? In Canada,
most employers usually call for two interviews, sometimes even 3.

Good luck!
