Another 'sealed transcript' query
I requested a sealed degree transcript which duly arrived, free of charge, in an envelope addressed to me with no markings as to where it came from. So I opened it and there was the transcript - now unsealed.
I am going to have to go back to the uni and request a proper sealed one - can anyone tell me what is usually printed on the sealed transcript envelope by the uni as I feel I really need to go back and spell out exactly what I want.
Had a search but couldn't find answer to exactly this.

I had the same problem once and as you opened an envelope that was not marker one way or the other by the sender. I just sent both in with an explanation and that was accepted. However I do not think it wise if you can get another one quickly. In my case it first one took over 6 months to arrive.

Hi
I would expect a University Seal (stamp) and initialled on the back of the envelope (where it is sealed).
I sometimes send unofficial transcripts and always use department stamp and initial where the envelope is sealed.
