Default AIP work permit

I got my AIP over the phone today and was told I could now apply to work
by downloading the form and mailing it off. I Does the work permit grant
an implicit extension of my temporary residence status? Should I send
photos as if applying for en extension to residence status. Should I
wait for the actual letter (is there something I need from the letter?)?

I would wait for AIP letter to see if there are any other requirements.
Work permit will give you status and photos are not required. I presume you
are stil in status in Canada.

A work permit is just a visitor's permit with permission to work, so it
extends your status. You don't need photos. Wait for the letter and
enclose a copy with your application.

The application also has questions about medical etc. I have some
extensive details that relate to this. Can I just reply " Please see
details on Permanent Residence Application" or do I need to reiterate
everything.

Thanks - Dan

No, don't make extra work for CIC, they may just decide to return the WP
application until it is complete.

What is the form and how do you get it. I would appreciate any info on this.
