Advice from Mr Andrew Miller and Mr Jim Humphries
I had filed my application thru Buffalo in Oct 2001. Recd an interview waiver letter in Oct 2002 with the medical forms. The medical was done in Nov 2002(reports sent by the DMP on 26th Nov) and final documents sent alongwith current FBI no arrest record card.I also sent the ROLF alongwith the documents.
I have not recd a request for passport from Buffalo as yet and the medical reports have reached the 6 months deadline. Please let me know from your experience the chances of my getting a "decison made" without having to go thru a second medical examination.
Thanks in advance.

It seems that your background/security check takes longer than expected.
Unfortunately nobody can tell you how soon you will receive anything.

Hi Jim,
I just posted another similar case as yours, except my time was one
month earlier than yours. I am still waiting.
I think Mr Andrew Miler maybe right, we are ****ed by Buffalo's damn
excuse of background check - I have been living and working in Canada
for 5 years!
I think I would have been better off if I made the decision to go back
to Asia 5 years ago - at least I could accumulate some personal wealth
and get a much better career advancement. Again, I can not complain,
it's life...
George
