Hi everybody,

I have a case of changing my marital status while my application is
still on process..
I did my medicals last Jan 2003 and since I'm planning to get
married this July I did the right thing (based on Mr. Miller's kind
advice) by informing the immigration office of the expected change, to
avoid the trouble if they sent me the passport request and getting a
single visa that I'll have to cancel later on..
Anyway, my issue is when I informed them I asked for the required
papers that should be prepared,I explained to them that marriage cert.
will be ready on July. in May 20th 2003 they mailed me back with the
required documents which included marriage certificate (which will I
can only get after wedding in July) but they didn't give me any time
frame to send my wife's papers. my concern is:

1- should I consider that the deadline is the date of my medics
expiration (Jan 2004)?
2- I'm afraid if I wait till July (police cert. could take another
month after July ) to start preparing the documents that immig. Office
will consider my case canceled due to delay of documents.

Any idea about such issues ?????
