Acronyms...ROLFS etc etc

Acronyms...ROLFS etc etc
We're very new to all this only just having sent off all our forms & supporting docs to our solicitor in Toronto. We are a family of four hoping to live and work in Victoria on Vancouver Island. This forum has been a huge help and many of our questions answered without having to ask...........
However some of the Acronyms used still baffle me. I'm sure this has been asked before (and I apologise for asking again!) but what does BDEC, IELTS, AOR, COPR, ROLF, IRPA etc etc stand for?? Is there a list of common acronyms and their meanings available anywhere??..................

AOR - Acknowledgement of Receipt
COPR - Confirmation of Permanent Residence
ROLF - Right of Landing Fees
IRPA - Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
BDEC - something concerned with Background Check
