Re: WISE Verification
Danger, Danger, Please never click on a link from an email like this. Please call Wise with a telephone number not on that email you may be about to be scammed. Ask the Wise customer service if they sent this email. Again PLEASE PLEASE do not call the number on that email if there is one because it may be a scammers own number. GO to the actual Wise webpage and contact them before doing anything.

Re: WISE Verification
I regularly have messages supposedly from various banks asking me to provide some detail or other. No bank will ever ask you to provide ID info, pin numbers or any other such thing by e-mail. Unfortunately there are a lot of scams out there including requests for import due payment to be made before a package can be delivered.

Re: WISE Verification
I have a Wise account and did have to provide a photo ID when I made the account back in 2016 but have never heard from them again . I still use my account from time to time. I had a message recently about validating my Revolut account. Funny thing is I never had an account with them so I knew it was a phishing scam from the get go.. I also had a similar message back in the summer about my Barclays account and again I have never had an account with them. There are scammers in internet call centers all over the world perpetrating these scams, certainly they may only get 1 in 500 to fall for the scam but if they hook the right fish they can clean someone out sometimes for Thousands or tens of thousands. If a financial service company sends an email asking for validation of your details it is almost always a scam.
