Default Looking for a small house - advice please

Looking to find a small house or winemakers cottage with about 4000m2 of ground in Zala County. Hoping to find something in a nice village or near to one. I am looking forward to finding something rural and mixing in the local communities. Rural because our family has always been semi self sufficient, handy with tools and happy to raise livestock. Currently in the Shetland Islands, so know all about living in remote areas, inhospitable climates, happy to barter etc

All help appreciated.

There are several zártkert plots for sale in the hills above the village I live in.

I had no problem buying my vineyard as it is (just) under 1 hectare and I am an EC citizen. My lawyer contacted the main földhivatal (land registry office) for Zala county in Zalaegerszeg and they cleared the transfer by return of post. I know that some other counties drag their heels in this matter. Of course having a residence permit, address card and tax card makes the paperwork easier!

My neighbours are sympathetic and helpful, offering advice and assistance; one even gave me a jug full of freshly pressed wine juice and explained how to make pálenka from the leftover grape pulp.
