I suffer from hay-fever and the effects can vary from year to year. If you suffer from same how do you cope with it?
Looking at my weather app one bit of advice which I think is a bit ridiculous is to change clothes and shower after you have been outside. The number of times I go outside would indicate I'd need more than ten changes of clothes and shower same number of times!

ridiculous advice?
advice - if you go outside you will become contaminated, when returning inside you should decontaminate....
your way - go outside, get contaminated, come back inside and spread the contamination around the house, repeat ten times a day to keep the house as full of pollen as you possibly can and then have a moan
you need to manage your environment if you suffer that badly, as well as not walking around in it all day and constantly bringing more inside with you, try keeping windows/doors closed as much as possible, if you must open windows for fresh air only open on the lee side of the house
air purifiers with HEPA filters work quite well as long as they are correctly sized for the room/house

This year seems to be particularly bad everywhere. The climate has messed up and plants/trees don't know what season it is or can't follow their normal development.
I had to start early in March with tablets...still trying to get off them now but streaming eyes and sneezing fits say otherwise.
We had one day with 26 degrees and 4 days later a frost..and now heavy downpours of rain...
Air purifier is a good tip...
What can I do about all the slugs?...hundreds of them...

we have a dog so can't put pellets down, I go around in the evenings with a torch a pick them up by hand, put them in a pooh bag with salt, tie it off and put in the bin
my personal best is 78 in one evening, it doesn't take as long as you'd think

For working in the garden perhaps a disposable boiler suit to be removed before entering the house.
For the house maybe a positive input ventilation system (PIV) with a HEPA filter and keep the windows shut. This will slightly pressurise the house with the air being blown out through any cracks / trickle vents etc. This will help keep pollen out. PIV is a recognised ventilation system along with but cheaper than heat reclaim ventilation systems.
Make sure you have the right sort of filter in your car's air-con. and use the air-con rather than open the windows.
