The same happened to me on one trip to UK in the LDV Convoy. In my case only the glass was broken so as a temporary measure I taped on my travelling shaving mirror with duct tape and sorted it properly when back in Scotland.

Tapolca, Vesprem
There should be two on this street: 8300 Tapolca, Hegymagasi út
This is the phone number of one of them, Toth Autobonto 06 87/510 954, though if Hungarian is limited or non existent, probably as well calling in on them. The second one is a few hundred yards down the road and if neither have the part, I am sure they will be able to point you in the right direction.

If this is a hire car why is it your problem to resolve? Have the hire car company not got a breakdown recovery service available to help you?

Could be wrong but I'm guessing perhaps there is an excess on the insurance and the amount the hire company would charge for the repair would be more than if he repaired the mirror himself. I've known hire companies to take hundreds off for the smallest of scratches that a bit of t-cut would make good!

Good luck tomorrow.
