Hi all

Just joined the forum and wanted to say hello! I moved from London with my Hungarian husband a year ago. So far I've enjoyed living here, although not speaking the language does make me feel much less independent. So I'm learning Hungarian now!

Anyway, I'm sure I will have questions and will get lots of good advice on here from you guys.

Thank you! It definitely makes things easier - to the point that I'm completely rely on him! (well, almost)

We are currently in Pilisvorosvar, just outside of Budapest. But we will be moving to Godollo soon. I hope I can meet some more English speaking people there...

We've been here 20 years - I'm still learning the language as well - Having a Hungarian other half doesn't always help, especially when they are a translator/interpreter. It makes it too easy to be lazy!
