Working from home for the first full week. It is only day two and I am already getting fed up with it. Kids are home, home schooling is not going well, I feel a falling out coming on generally. Maybe I am just tired from listening to other peoples problems day in day out.
Getting fed up with the house and its problems. Will be saving up for a skip I think. Contemplating just getting rid of the guitars as I just disgusted myself at the sound I just got out if one and struggle to feel any desire to continue. Just run out of life I think. Actually contemplating selling up and going back to Budapest. That will pass but I have been surprised how quickly I have had enough of the house and being here all the time.
Yes I know about being responsible and all that but I cannot wait to be back in the office. Going to be along couple of months.

Just seen on 'The Telegraph' website migrants are still crossing the English Channel. French Police have been diverted from patrolling the coast line to monitoring the coronavirus lockdown! I really hope these migrants are deported immediately because it's pure madness at this stage of the coronavirus lockdown. Where do they think they will be placed on arrival? More than likely in a detention centre where coronavirus may already be rampant!

Hang in there. Try and get into a routine and stick to it, especially where the kids' home schooling is concerned. The weather is due to pick up from tomorrow with temperatures in the teens, so getting out in the fresh air will make things seem better. Have you tried lining the kids up facing a wall and have them hold a 1,000ft note against the wall with their foreheads. 1st one to let the note hit the floor loses, the last one gets to keep the money

I'm used to spending long periods at home, especially during the summer but this time is different. In the summer I know exactly when my work stops and starts again and how much money we have. Also, the weather is much warmer. At the moment we've had no work for nearly 2 weeks and no indication of when it will start again. And the weather has been all over the place. This had lead to my mood being very up and down. I'm ok when I can get outside and be doing things but some days I've just sat infront of the laptop/tv the whole day and done nothing and that really doesn't help my frame of mind, so I totally get where you're coming from.
This situation will pass and things will steadily improve.

I went shopping at the Kaposvar Tesco earlier today and the situation was much better than it was 2 weeks ago. They had many items in stock that were absent last time including sugar, flour and most baking items. pasta was fairly well stocked this time. Paper goods were well stocked with only one or 2 items empty and canned goods were much better than last time but still had a few items out of stock like canned corn. I think most of the panic buying is probably over unless things get much worse than they are now. There was not a large crowd or long wait in the cue either.

The mother-in-law says the local supermarkets are full of food and empty of people, when she asked the guy behind the meat counter what happened he said he suspects that nobody has any money left until payday/benefit day as they spent it all on food already.
Makes sense to me, the shelves were stripped bare a couple of weeks ago.
