Hi Old Man

Not much open yet so can't say if the good ones are still going to be good, you never know from one season to another, different chef etc.

We have eaten at these places recently and are all good.

Viva Goa, Candolim, excellent food & value, not posh surroundings.
The Chippy, Calungute, very English but very good.
The Bhati Village, Nerul, beautiful fish, prawns etc.
Fisherman Cove, Candolim on main road, A/C one.
Electric Cat, Calungute
Flambe, Candolim

More and more are starting to open, noticed Mango Grove opened a couple of days ago.

Regards

Hi Kinrara,

Where in Nerul is The Bhati Village. We have been to See U, which is spotless.

Love the food in Hakka's Candolim "Sweet and sour chicken" to die for - but give the loo a miss!!!!

I expect a lot of new resturants will be opening soon. The old ones we will try, but as you know if the chef has changed, things could have have gone down hill.

Anybody got any resturants.

Hi Noni,

Brittos would get my . It's hard to get a bad meal in Goa but they gave it a damn good try. It's very popular with the middle-class Indians though, very strange.

Hi Catpat

Not long now before our flight!

Got to say, and I know I am going to get jumped on Stonehouse, been three times over the years. Once rats running over feet - food awful.
2nd. service extremely slow food just o.k.
thought would give it a try again last season
3rd. Food terrible, service terrible and singer could have been a strangled cat

thought we were there for the night.Just thinking about the rats that ran over your feet, do you think they were heading the EXIT.

Must be the same night - we waited 45 mins for the bill - I left in disgust and left OH there to pay. But the Rats got out first.

Wondered to Yamini which upset OH.

Agree absolutely!, Stonehouse is a big NO! Poor food, lousy service, much too loud music etc, and very arrogant owner with a very uncontrolled child. It's the only eating place I definately wouldn't go to, there are others I'm not keen on though would give them a second chance.

Hi noni,
I just know how he felt, I finished up trailing a couple of paces
behind the wife, she shopping, me muttering and moaning
