Where to eat this year?

We tried a lovely place called Valentino's Exotica last night, following a recommendation. We were not disappointed !
Their first season at probably the worst time in the history of the Universe in general and Goa in particular. Also not in the best location (in Valentino's Resort, just past Shanta Durga Temple and before Prazeres Resort on the road to Nerul). So needs some support.
A multi - cuisine menu of excellent food served in salubrious surroundings, with excellent service, not the cheapest around , but reasonable.
Great hostess in the form of Anglo-Indian Prudence.
See what you think.

As always excellent food at Tony's Place - moved from main Candolim Road down the lane next to Casa Sea Shell.
built a new place and the food is excellent and same excellent prices as last year KINGFISHER still 60 rups.
Extensive menu = but best fish and chips and mushy peas in Goa when you are fed up of spicey food.

Restaurant 42 is at the Coconut Inn opposite Regal Retreat, opposite Ruffles is a place called JJ's, there is a road next to JJ's and the restaurant is 200 metres up on the left.

Agree with all the above comments but for my money the best place to eat is still Bhatti Bar (aka Patricks) in Nerul. The only place for my last meal!!! Tonight I had a fish, measured from middle finger to elbow!!, simply fried in tumeric and chilli, beautiful. OH had chichen cafriel, large salad and bread total bill with drinks (many many) Rs763. We eat there several times a week and always thoroughly enjoy it. All the food is Goan (and cooked by a Goan, Patricks wife) and ranges from beef chilli fry, to freshly prepared fish/prawns etc. Trust me you cannot go wrong, however tables are limited so I would suggest you phone to book a table. Patricks number is 9822184103. From Candolim head toward Coco beach and turn left at the crossroads not right which is towards Coco beach. Just follow the lane down and the restaurant is on the left.
C U there!!!
