Hi there
Just to let everyone know that we have now had a reply from Sameer, Rukmini Constructions. He has been out of town but assures us that things are on track but might be delayed by 2/3 months. So everyone take a brolly as it looks like we will all be going in the monsoon!!!
Still, dont mind so long as we get to see our new holiday homes.
It has been a distressing time for everyone and for those who paid Churchill even more so. He is aware of this and is trying to sort, not sure how.
We visited the first phase last Nov and were pleased with what we saw. Sameer took us round one of the apartments and seemed a genuine sort of man, so hope we are not proved wrong. The second phase is at the back of the first phase which was on the high street and not too far from the beaches. So looking forward to yet another foot massage, had one a day, cant be bad!!!

Hello
i too have bought in exotic regency phase 2, and cannot get in touch with churchills. I have heard from other website churchills has gone bust.
Although i have a receipt from rukmini constructions i have heard nothing else and dont know how to get in touch with them.
Gail can you let me know how to contact rukmini - telephone number or email address. you say everything is on track , but why have they not contacted us, do they know who we are?
i paid churchills my third payment in march, which they have just returned to me, without any explanation. so the developer never recieved my payment, i dont understand why they are not chasing me up, if everything is ok with the construction. I dont know how i am supposed to trust them now.
there are other purchasers on the site (SNIP) in the same situation

hello there,
here are the builders details.....Rukmini Construction,
main contact Mr Samir N Kalangutkar.
email - [email protected]
Hope that helps, cant understand why your money was not forwarded to the developer as my first payment was and after that i have dealt directly with Samir, who replied to my worried email 2 weeks ago, offering assurance that my investment was safe and completion would be delayed by 2 - 3 months.
I have just emailed him and requested the promised photo update, fingers crossed !!!!
Good luck.
every good wish

I've had a phone call from Goa today suggesting that the project will not be finished until March 2009, but was also imformed that there would be monthly updates and photographs of the Exotic Regency, i also had some photographs e-mailed to me by the agent who did work for Churchills before their downfall seemed like a nice chap !

Ok - had no reply - so won't bother.
Jilly - thought as you had asked a question that you would come back on here to see if you had had a reply.

hello again,
sorry for late reply, as i mentioned my mum is very ill and does not live near me, so had to go away for a few days unexpectedly and will be away from next thurs to sun. i and others, i imagine, would be most grateful if you had the time to visit Exotic regency, if you still wish to offer that service now you have received an explanation for my lack of immediate response it would be much appreciated, if you are still upset then as you said dont bother.
exotic regency is in North Goa in a village, slightly inland, called Siolem, up behind vargator and Morjim, if you are coming from the south the construction is on the right a little before the Chapora river bridge and obviously if you are coming from the north it is on the left just a little way after the Chapora river bridge, the new phase 2 is behind the completed phase 1 and the builder had an office there ,his name is Samir Kalangutkar.
i hope that helps and you enjoy your trip to Goa.
every good wish
