This is not new, when we got our first freezer decades ago and kept it in the garage, I used to joke that if I was seen carrying food in through the side door, neighbours would think we had a family of 'immigrants in there' (We didn't though!).

Southall is nothing compared to whats been going in London for the past 5 years.The canal is full of old worn out boats taking advantage of the loop holes in mooring times and fees.You have to move on every couple of weeks but it can be yards, not miles.A large majority of the workers on the Olympics are sleeping in shifts on these old boats to avoid London rents.My friend has an allotment up in Enfield and he said to me that if you arrive early, you can watch them leaving their rented allotment sheds to go to work......The true figures for illegal immigration in the London area must run into hundreds of thousands. Every time there is an outbreak of trouble or a rumble in the jungle any where in the world they end up in the UK and usually in North London some where ...! The Border and Customs Agency are a joke.You only have to walk to Finsbury Park and you can see all the illegal Algerians hanging around with nothing to do except ogle passing women, eat cakes and getting their haircut twice a week .

Easy, the Barbers are all Algerian and so are the patisseries .Freebies from their mates.How they survive in London i haven't a clue.But 18 months ago 400 police raided Blackstock Road and entered every premises that was associated with Algeria because of their fondness for pick pocketing and bag snatching in the West End.
