Noni, I am still wondering whose 'own paper' this is? Or is it from another daily paper? (I don't have a paper, I read the Telegraph because OH buys it and I am too mean to buy any other).

If you want to pee you can always walk into any home and ask them to permit you to use their toilet,' Mascarenhas said in response to a question about lack of infrastructure in the state

28 Aug: Berlingske Tidende (Denmark). Goa is exotic but the dirt, poverty and misery is everywhere … Most like the place, many come back year after year, but there are those who do not like it, and there are some who choose to buy a scheduled flight ticket home after two days…

Did you see the article lower down the page www.goanvoice.org.uk about the proposal to put portable toilets on the beaches! I regularly experience portable toilets in the UK as I go to festivals. The idea of something similar in the heat on the beach does not bear thinking about. At festivals they fill up quickly and get in a terrible mess, stink to high heaven and run out of paper and soap and water or handwash. And that is when they are emptied and restocked at least daily.

Ugh - imagine the stench in that heat - it will permeate the whole area !
The airport toilets are bad enough and they have attendants there cleaning them regularly (well supposedly anyway!).
Time to increase the pelvic floor exercises !!

Dread - x

We used to go camping in Scotland for our holidays but after an August bank holiday when there was a frost overnight we gave up on that so I will not be moving up there. I will however write to my MP. She must get so sick of hearing from me and having to reply but I do ask her to email her response rather than use that very nice quality House of Commons writing paper and envelopes.
