Re: Container Sharing to Mumbai
If you need to ship anything from here to the UK please beware there is a shipping agent in panjim on the 18th june road, wil find out the name but my daughter had a few boxes shipped over paid over rps 45,000/-, it was supposed to go to Glasgow docks and went to Flexistow, all the import uties were supposed to have been paid by the shipping company here but of course werent, an she ended up with a huge headache of trying to get the shipping up to glasgow and paying another 400 quid for import duties. the phone is 08326453443 to be avoided like the plague:thumbdown::thumbdown:

Re: Container Sharing to Mumbai
We shipped all our house contents to Goa last August (moved for good) and arranged a 40 foot sea container to wait outside our house while we loaded it ourselves. We did all packing and loading ourselves only paying for the sea container which cost £1200 (direct from our house in Hastings all the way to the port in GOA - not Mumbai - specify Goa- 'Mormagao' when booking ). Customs clearing we paid separately, and had to arrange ourselves, but was considerably cheaper than arranging it all from the UK end.
Please PM me if you require any shipping or Goa customs contact details. We have been there and done it! Julia x |
Re: Container Sharing to Mumbai
Nobody in their right mind is going to ship all their belongings to Goa now, they would probably do more business going the other way.

That isn't a rumour - it's fact, I've seen the visa with my own eyes. H. |
