Coming to Goa

Hi! Can anyone out there help? Am off to Goa with hubby on 19 Nov with a view to finding property where we can spend 3 months a year. Would really enjoy meeting with Brits who are doing the same and could perhaps share their knowledge with us. Anyone there willing to meet up with two newbies? We'll buy you a meal and share a few drinks. We're staying at Mobor Beach, South Goa if anyone can help. Thanks, Jill

Hi Jill,

A warm welcome to the forum,
How long are you going to be in Goa for?

We are having a Christmas Bash in North Goa on the 14th December and you will be more than welcome to join us. See details on the top sticky thread.

A few of the South Goa members should be able to offer you advise on property rentals........i presume its in South Goa you want to rent?

Have a nice time in Goa......we are heading out ourselves on the 24th Nov.

Regards,
Remy

Hi Remy, Thanks for invite but unfortunately we're only in Goa for two weeks and leave on 4 Dec. Do you know South Goa at all? With all the warnings together with the sound advice I've read on here, we're obviously treading very carefully so would welcome the opportunity to meet with anone who has been there and got the badge! Thanks, Jill

Noni,

Just calm down and think of all the noffi awaiting you in Goa. I am sure by Tuesday of next week you will be well in the Goa groove. Have a safe trip and see you at the bash. Phil.
