Default Coming to Goa

Hi! Can anyone out there help? Am off to Goa with hubby on 19 Nov with a view to finding property where we can spend 3 months a year. Would really enjoy meeting with Brits who are doing the same and could perhaps share their knowledge with us. Anyone there willing to meet up with two newbies? We'll buy you a meal and share a few drinks. We're staying at Mobor Beach, South Goa if anyone can help. Thanks, Jill

Hi Jill,

A warm welcome to the forum,
How long are you going to be in Goa for?

We are having a Christmas Bash in North Goa on the 14th December and you will be more than welcome to join us. See details on the top sticky thread.

A few of the South Goa members should be able to offer you advise on property rentals........i presume its in South Goa you want to rent?

Have a nice time in Goa......we are heading out ourselves on the 24th Nov.

Regards,
Remy

Hi Remy, Thanks for invite but unfortunately we're only in Goa for two weeks and leave on 4 Dec. Do you know South Goa at all? With all the warnings together with the sound advice I've read on here, we're obviously treading very carefully so would welcome the opportunity to meet with anone who has been there and got the badge! Thanks, Jill

may as well stay home if Shacks not up until 26th. 'noffi on the balcony and fake tan before you get there.
Mind by the time we have sorted out the Apartment, paperwork for mobiles etc. and anything else they can throw at us, the shacks will be open.

Now that would put people off me being the waitress, they would need
'noffi x 'noffi when I have my Goan outfit on.

Noni,

Just calm down and think of all the noffi awaiting you in Goa. I am sure by Tuesday of next week you will be well in the Goa groove. Have a safe trip and see you at the bash. Phil.

We have another two weeks to put in before we depart to Goa.
Really struggling and just barely existing now until we get there........its been almost 3 years since we where there as a family unit and we really need this break. Looking forward to meeting up with you all and escaping the UK for 3 weeks. I know you should never wish your life away but roll on the 24th Nov.

HOW MUCH A NIGHT!!!! must thnk we are totally stupid!!
