Hi Rula & All,
The UK address given for CG & co has been "credit checked " and there is an "industrial cleaners" business registered there under that name with a registration of CG & JG as directors, with assets of £9k and a recommended credit limit of £600 !WARNING
Although this has nothing to do with me the people who are affected should seriously make some waves if he does not have another UK registration address
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news if this applies to you and they DON'T have anothere registered address !

hi all,just wanted to say that when we were first contemplating a purchase in goa it was through chris gregory,at first we were not aware of all the implications with regards to non fns purchasing property etc etc,at first before i found this site chris seemed like a very genuine individual,i spoke to him on a few occasions asking numerous questions about legal; aspects of owning property etc etc and all he kept saying to us was just send me the deposit to my office in the uk and we will sort out all the legal stuff etc etc,,,during my correspondence with him i chanced upon this forum,in particular the goa buyer beware thread,,,i couldnt believe what i was reading,,,so just to see if he was genuine or not i then started to ask him awkward questions about deeds and transfer of deeds and buying on a tourist visa etc etc,,he then started to become very irate with me,after a few weeks and about 10 or so phone conversations he then said to me,in his own words,,,it sounds to me like you will never own a property in goa,and to stop wasting my time and go and hassle some other developer etc etc etc,,at this stage i then new 200% that this individual was not worth the time of day,,,,and to be honest if i hadnt of read the thread by douglas i would now be up to my neck in it,,,,,,,,,,if anyone is reading this and contemplating taking the plunge DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY,,,,
if i was a developer in goa and it was all above board i would be bending over backwards to assure all my clients and perspective clients that all was ok,,,as soon as i started asking awkward questions he wanted rid of me,that in itself spoke volumes for us
i sincerely hope anyone caught up in this mess manages to get some kind of satisfactory outcome

Exactly the same thing happened to us with Goa Property Service.
Steven Wood, all nice, until we started asking the questions from Buyer Beware, and he told us don't keep on if you don't want to buy and believe me go somewhere else, up until then he had been really nice.
Met a family who were worried about registration etc. as they had paid up in full, they were so excited had been to seen Wood who had take ££££ of them and told them to go down the property route, he would set up a company for them no problem. :curse:
Excuse the language, but all these people are greedy assholes.

The sad thing is that there are people reading this tonight that are probably still in denial and dont want to believe anything we say.

These guys are very convincing. Professional con merchants who are only interested in furthering their own gain. Its near time we all woke up and started smelling the roses.....to check that they are indeed roses and not Dandelions.

Just checked and Chris Gregory web site is still up and running but notice he has been taken of the Findaproperty.com web page. Unfortunately I am one of those that have been caught out by buying from Chris even though we are OK to buy as my wife has a OCI card. It would look as though if he does go down the pan he will be taking my hard earned money with him. If there are more of us out there who can get together and fight for our money then lets at least give it a try. My last communication was by E Mail on the 8th May and the response was as follows:-

Not heard anything since then:curse::curse::curse:
