Re: Braganza World

Hi,
yes sorry, at work and got distracted.

I set up this thread, for anyone who is involved in the Churchill / Braganza World sitiuation.

I personally reserved a one bed unit in the complex, and have just received the email, stating the agent who took over from Churchill's has resigned.

I have been unable to get hold of Ryan Braganza, but have emailed him formal notice of my intention to pull out of this project and requesting a refund of monies paid.

Hopefully we can exchange info using this thread, and I know some of you are already talking about going legal, for which I have a list of Solicitors in Goa from the foriegn office.

Interested in everyones thoughts / suggestions / Help !!

"advocates involved in this case are named as Vijay Gaykar and Narayan Dessai, this deal started in 2006 they learnt whilst executing the sale deed one of the owners had expired in 2005 so they got a person to inpersonate the dead guy and used his thumb prints and signature and the deed went through.the whole scam was exposed by an heir to the property!!!!! "

Please be VERY VERY CAREFUL :curse: using our USELESS FCO list, perhaps Vikram Varma may be your best route ?

Anyone agree/disagree ?

I sent a letter out a few days ago (by post) demanding a refund from both Churchills and Branganza construction, I await their reply, may get nothing from Churchills if they have gone under.

If he can't handle any more he might at least point you in the direction of an 'honest' advocate who can help you if there is such a person. Steer clear of the Goan advocates, you don't know who to trust:thumbdown:. We are sure there must be some good ones but sadly they are now all tarred with the same brush.
Good luck and keep us posted.:thumbsup:

Hi all, am new to this forum thing so hope I don't make too many mistakes.

My name is Sadaf and I was buying a studio in Braganza World with my partner Mohamed. To say that I am disappointed with what's been happening is an understatement!

We also received the same emails as everyone and are definitely not going to transfer to Tropical Dreams. I would be very intersted in what action you all decide to take and feel that if Ryan Braganza refuses to refund our money we should definitely get the 1 lawyer amongst ourselves.

I hope we all have a positive response from Mr Braganza by this time next week.

Regards
sadaf
