Wanted: accommodation in Lyon
Work takes me from London to Lyon in March 2014 at an office between Tete D'or park and the river, and am looking for a room (suite/barn/loft) in a "commutable" internet connected property, initially for up to six months. Will be travelling a lot but require a base in Lyon.
Future colleagues have pointed me at all the swanky rental websites but I want feet on the ground first and am happy with modest accommodation.
Would drive from UK with essentials (e.g. bike).
Whether you are a "Tall order" or "Fit the bill" respondee, thanks for your kind consideration.
All the best
Alistair

Welcome to BE...you have come to the right place!
As CS has pointed out, we aren't exactly a relocation service, more of a sort of 'we have, did, can, and are willing to help' brigade. Do you have much experience with Le Bon Coin? I would certainly suggest them as a place to start, but I am sure that better informed colleagues will be along momentarily...very best of luck!

MillieF,
I hosted "couchsurfers" here in London for a while, everyone was brilliant, and some delightful Canadians were among them. My only reservation is that in their thank you note they called my three bed London terrace house an "apartment", the cheek of it.
Will check out the site you mentioned, thanks.
