Can anyone advise on how this new taxing at source works for micro entreprise, please? I have been registered, declaring and paying my taxes and social charges every quarter for some years. Towards the end of last year I was asked to set up a new prélèvement, which I did. My work is sporadic but I assumed they would take an average of last year's income and divide by 12. So far, nothing has been taken from my account. I've tried to get a meeting with the local tax office but can't get in for the masses of other people so though I would ask on here. Thanks.

You're right, the tax offices have been and still are inundated with queries of this nature.
Have a read through HERE, which hopefully should answer your queries. If not telephone again for a rdv at your local tax office.
