Key word here is "carette", meaning a car.

It is enjoyable though. I can see that it might seem an unimportant thing at times but regional differences are one of the real pleasures of the French language. Here I was being told a story that had the man telling it in stitches about something said to him by someone with a slightly different dialect. But you're absolutely right the thing to do is not to worry for make mistake
