Information on Haute Marne
I am currently in the process of buying a house in southern Haute Marne region (right on the border with Haute Soane & Cote D'Or) & would be interested to know of any other Brits in the area. I have heard that there are a few, along with a growing Dutch community! Also, I will need to make contact with a roofer primarily as the guttering to the house really needs looking at so if anyone can recommend someone I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance

Hi, I'm not quite what you're looking for, but I may be able to help. I'm Doc, live in Haute Marne (though closer to the north, near Joinville) and I'm more American than anything else. But, I'd be more than happy to help you out if need be. Just mail me...

Thanks for you reply - the only one so far I might add! My completion date is looking likely to be around the middle to end of July so I'll get in contact with you again closer to the date if that's ok? so, "more "american than anything else" what brings you to this lovely part of France and have you been there long?
